Dear Karen and Kathleen,
|
Arielle is doing superb. She started showing last year, and placed reserve on her first show (after we scratched her on the last day because she had done so well - not a rail down) and champion 3' division on the second show. We started her off this year at the Winter Farewell show at Spruce Meadows, and she picked up 3 wins. She would have picked 4 if the rider had not knocked a standard with his knee while doing a sharp turn! She is staying at Spruce for another week as there is another show coming up, and then we will show her locally. As ability to jump is not the issue - it's more a "driveability" question, we are hopeful we will work out all the kinks this year and have her ready for the mini prix next year.... I shall keep you posted!
