Karen Moore, has been riding
since 1969. At the age of nine she talked her parents into
getting a Shetland pony, "Romeo." Appropriately
named the love affair began. She successfully competed
hunters through her teens. She trained performance Quarter
Horses and Arabs in her twenties. In 1988, she discovered
dressage.
"I have schooled with many talented instructors. Dr.
Cesar Parra has been a great inspiration. My regular work with Leslie Reid has been fantastic. She connects the basics with the upper level work in such a logical way. My local coach is the great, Jeremy Steinberg.
Dressage has become
easier to understand and explain. It just takes much more concentration than I imagined. I have
an incredible amount of respect for everyone who puts in the
effort."
